This is a north facing compliant home for a dwelling family, which is designed on a linear plot with neighbours homes on east & west sides and an open plot in the south.The clients are a well awared, simple, grounded close to the nature, understated elegant couple. They wanted a simple yet elegant home surrounded by nature. Keeping their requirement and personality in view we tried to bring that in the design, and came up with a combination of understated luxury and simplicity. One of the project's highlights is the living room situated between the front and back courtyards. The living area has to be positioned toward the northeast since the plot faces north, and any access from that direction would invade the owners' privacy. Thus, we have presented the living area with an entry and the courtyard in the front yard. With double height, the living room faces north. A blend of natural stones, pebbles, and white marble hardwood finish tiles make up the courtyard's flooring. The landscaping in the area is designed to mimic the surrounding natural landscape.
